Personal interests:

I like to work with the youth. It’s been a pleasure teaching Biology since 15 years. Reading, photography, videotaping birds and animals from the nature while touring places, and gardening are my hobbies. From the family point, we plan our activities for the year around, including trips in and out of country.  On a daily basis I do some yoga and go for a jog.

What I find interesting about my research as an RET Fellow:

My mentor professor, the REU fellows  in the Neuro Engineering Development lab have a good rapport. The working environment is very conducive. As a RET fellow I have the unique experience of doing  something hands on everyday, whether it be making models, experimenting, presentations, reading, exchanging, clarifying and thus refreshing ideas about the new world science.
